conditions we have been suffering through in SouthWest Florida,</B></div> <div> <B>today's weather was ideal.  Temps approaching the mid 70's, low humidity, lots of sun and refreshing breezes.</B></div> <div> <B>Some of those breezes were gusting to over 20 mph making our Golf Scored Field Target Match a ton of</B></div> <div> <B>fun.   The 20 target match consisted of 7 lanes with two offhanders designated on lane 1.   </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>We were delighted to host some visiting shooters to our venue,  Ed Escue and Donovan Taylor from the East coast of Florida, and </B></div> <div> <B>Jill Clelland, visiting from PA.   I'm not a sucker for coincidence,  but today the top scores was a tie between two of those </B></div> <div> <B>visitors!    Jill and Donovan both shot a phenomenal low score of 9.   Go Figure !</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Remember  low score wins </B><B>in this unique twist to FT Shooting</B><B>.   The Golf Scoring is as follows:  Up to t</B><B>hree shots allowed </B></div> <div> <B>in attempt to knock the target down.    </B><B>Miss all 3 shots and the target is scored a 4. </B><B>     H</B><B>it the target on your third shot,  you're</B></div> <div> <B>scored a 3.  </B><B> M</B><B>iss shot #1 and hit on shot #2, score a 2.  </B><B>  Kill the target on your first shot and score a 1 OR </B><I><B>take a chance</B></I><B>. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Here is where the real fun begins,  there is an optional chance at unique risk reward:   When you fall the target on your first shot, ( and only then),  you have the option of taking another shot at the same target.  If you hit again, your score on that target is a "0" .   </B></div> <div> <B>This can help offset some misses and keep your score low.   However, if you miss your optional  2nd shot, you'll score a 2 for that target.    Knowing which target to take that chance and  "double up on"  was the key to winning this match.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div>
