 DeSoto Airgunners held the final match of 2013 on a day that was picture perfect for shooting.  Slight overcast kept the sun glare to a minimum yet there was plenty of  blue sky to allow  for a warm up to the mid 80's by afternoon.  Considering that  most of the country was in a deep freeze we were indeed blessed in southwest Florida.  A puffy breeze added to the difficulty of the  day's events: a 42 shot air rifle field target match followed by a casual air pistol silhouette  shoot.</div> <bR> <div> A total of 11 competitors attended the match, a strong turn-out given we're in the midst of the holiday silly season when "spare time"  becomes a contradiction of terms for most of us.  Some folks  that drove  from afar couldn't stay for the pistol event...Those that did  were a little
