BR Match 9-10-23

Today's match marked  the  final  event in the 2023 Summer Swelter Benchrest Series.   Typical conditions prevailed,  sticky and hot with occasional mild  puffs  to stir the wind flags.   Several regular  'Airgunners passed on today's event  for vacations and travel to upcoming national events like Extreme Benchrest in Arizona.     With a turnout of seven shooters we were able to accommodate all  participants in a single 3-card relay.  All participants competed in  the Heavy Varmint division for this 25 meter event.

John Taylor was our TOP GUN with a score of 727 points.  He also won our " X-Prize" recognition  scoring 22 bulls.

 Linda, Chip and Dennis,  our intrepid USARB-Benchrest  scoring team were among the missing from today's event -  Target cards  went unscored  -  the final results of our club match remained unknown.  The suspense was soon ended as Linda graciously volunteered to score the target cards.

With hopes for cooler and drier conditions the October 'Airgunners event is  'Return To The Lanes'  field target club match.
