NightForce FT 36X56

Writing to NightForce ( Summer of 2015)  I asked for some tech info on this legendary rifle scope.  They said production stopped more than 15 years ago.  Their Tech Support people were able to dig up the following details about this legendary 36 X 56 Field Target rifle scope:

Here is the info as it was scanned from the NightForce company archives:

It's  Large, Heavy, constructed like a tank.
Built around a 30mm dia. tube, this scope  has phenomenal glass;  the sight picture is incredibly bright.  Focus is so crisp and precise it feels like you could  resolve distances to a few fractions of inches.  This is the only scope design I personally know of that utilizes  2 revolutions of the parallax focusing objective to range from 8 yards to infinity.   You get lots of space between the yardages, even at 50 yard distances.
The NP1 Lighted Reticle is a little odd (some call it weird) but it seems to work fine for me, specially for Air Rifle Bench Rest where a MIL Dot or other busy reticle design isn't necessary.   While surfing the web, I  found that Nightforce offers some 22 different reticles !   Their service shop can probably retrofit several options.

Like a handful of legendary  scopes for Field Target work,  Nightforce FT scopes rarely come on to the market.   They enjoyed a relatively short and limited manufacturing run around the 1990's.  These scopes sell for more $ now then when they were new.   Why ?  Cause in a market where top scopes can command a staggering price up to  $3K;  a " used" Nightforce scope can be a bargin ( if you find one).
